Beaumont Hills is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia 40 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of The Hills Shire. Beaumont Hills is part of the Greater Western Sydney region and the Hills District.

Beaumont Hills was formerly part of the suburb of Kellyville, as was Kellyville Ridge. Beaumont Hills became a separate suburb in 2002. It was developed as a low-density residential suburb in a time frame similar to Kellyville.

Beaumont Hills is bounded by Withers Road in the north, Smalls Creek and Samantha Riley Drive in the east, Windsor Road in the south and the suburb of Rouse Hill in the west.

Settlement history

Development of the area dates primarily from the late 1990s. Prior to this land was used mainly for farming and orchards. The population increased rapidly between 1996 and 2006 as large numbers of new dwellings were added to the area. Growth slowed between 2006 and 2011 as fewer new dwellings were added to the area.

Commercial area

Beaumont Hills Shopping Centre officially opened in September 2009. It is home to a local grocery shop, chemist, seafood shop, Chinese Restaurant, bakery, medical centre and a real estate agency.

Major features of the area include Beaumont Hills Shopping Centre, Turkeys Nest Park and two schools.


The 2011 population for Beaumont Hills is 7,861, with a population density of 25.30 persons per hectare.

Hillsbus provide several bus routes that run through Beaumont Hills (Mungarie Road, The Parkway, Brampton Drive) on a regular basis.
